Born and raised in downtown Toronto, Xin first picked up photography in 2016 and had her work chosen by Scotiabank Canada the very same year. She now has over a dozen publications and exhibitions across international galleries. With extensive experience in darkroom and post-processing and a contemporary eye for aesthetics, Xin is dedicated to the exploration of social issues and creating otherworldly narratives.

When not studying, she is travelling the world. Her colourful works explore relationships and the identities of those stuck in a world too fast to breathe while expressing the isolation, sexuality and materialism of the society that lies before her.
